So my family and I took a quick trip to Atlanta this past weekend to see the Braves and Cardinals play ball. We had an absolute blast just being together! Friday, we left Booneville around 11 and arrived in Atlanta around 5:30! Mama booked it to get us there quickly because the Cardinals had batting practice starting at 5:05 and we could stand close to the field to watch. It was actually a veryy good game, and the Braves ended up taking the lead in the 6th inning, and they won! Mama and me were 2 happy Braves fans, and Daddy and Drew were two very unhappy Cardinals fans! Publix provided fireworks after the game for everybody, and they were so beautiful! It's been a while since I've seen a good fireworks show! The game ended pretty late, and we just went over to our hotel to get some sleep.
We all woke up around 9:30 on Saturday and began getting ready for the day! We decided to eat first because we knew we would be hungry that afternoon if we didn't. Mama and I decided to eat at Hard Rock Cafe and Daddy and Drew walked across the street to Hooter's. What else is new!! We met back up and headed to the World of Coke. What a great experience! If you have never been, it's such a wonderful thing to see!! I hope to get to go back and take Phillip one day. That ended up taking a pretty long while, and we got back on the road to head to Booneville about 3:30. We stopped in Oxford, Alabama for some yummy ice cream and made our journey on back to small town Booneville. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend but we were all very glad to get back to small town life. Thanks Mom and Dad for such a wonderful trip! Never will I ever take things like that for granted!! Enjoy every single moment with the ones you love!
