God has blessed the Chapmans

Our precious Charlotte was dedicated to the Lord on Sunday, September 25th, at Parkway Baptist Church in Clinton. It was a sweet little ceremony for family members and close friends. I love how personal the service was, and Charlotte's Uncle Ken was the preacher in the ceremony which made it that much more special. When Megan texted me to inform me of the date, Phillip and I knew immediately that we would be making the trip down to Clinton to see our girl.

We realize that we won't be able to make all of the important things that will happen in her life, but this became top priority on our list and we knew we would be going. We arrived in Clinton in time to eat lunch with the Chapmans, including Megan, Robert, and Charlotte. We were able to squeeze out a little loving before the evening baby dedication. We also came bearing gifts for our precious angel- a baby Tervis tumbler sippy cup (to add to Meg and Robert's collection) and a tiny Rinaldo prayer bracelet (to match her Mommy and Aunt Meg)!

There aren't many things besides a baby that can bring a family so close together. Charlotte has been such a huge blessing to our family, and we look forward to many more additions. Phillip and I can't wait to be a part of her life, and we hope that we are able to be more than just a small part. Her personality changes so much each day, and we love seeing the person she is going to become. She has great parents to mold her into the way God has planned, and there isn't a much sweeter bond than that between a parent and a child. Our family as a whole has so much to be thankful for, and I'm not even for a second going to take it for granted. Our precious niece is healthy, full of happiness and joy, and most of all a blessing from God! Oh, and did I mention she LOVES her Aunt Meg? Hehe! :) I will say that Uncle Sip did get her to sleep before we left for Watecolor and he was SUPER proud of himself! He tells me all the time now, "I'm not going to be a bad dad after all." She will be our source of practice until we have children of our own- we realize it's all in God's timing and Charlotte came at a perfect time!!

We love you Charlotte Elizabeth Chapman, and we can't watch to watch you grow into the sweet girl we know you will become! God has big things planned for you!! We are going to support you, love you, and spoil you! We will always be here for you- you were our first love!!!
